In rooms where it is not possible to mount a suspended acoustic ceiling or use SONASPRAY sprayable coatings, the only possible way to significantly improve acoustic performance is to suspend surround sound–absorbing elements — Soundlux-Design Buffle panels — from the ceiling. The presence of two absorbing surfaces in these panels, located perpendicular to the ceiling plane, determines their high sound absorption characteristics in the entire normalized frequency range. Scope of application: Soundlux-Buffle volumetric panels are used to increase acoustic comfort and reduce noise levels in sports and entertainment facilities, as well as in industrial and technical premises. Composition: Slabs of glass or mineral fiber laminated on the outside with fiberglass, a metal frame and a suspension system. The system for fastening wall acoustic panels has 2 options The first is fastening acoustic panels directly to flat walls using mounting plates and guide U-profiles. U-profiles are also used to bypass door and window openings. The U-profile lathing is installed using self-tapping screws or dowel nails. Noise-absorbing panels are manufactured to the required length in factory conditions. Acoustic decorative panels are attached to U-profiles using pull-out rivets or self-tapping screws.
The second option is fastening to the walls using metal lathing. As a lathing, we use posts made of a profile pipe with a supporting glazing bead on both sides. This allows you to sheathe uneven walls. Also, the air gap between the wall and the sound-absorbing panels has a positive effect on the soundproofing properties of the noise-protective cladding. The panels, in turn, are pressed with a strip to the supporting glazing beads of the posts, which ensures the strength and reliability of the entire structure.
